Inspiration and Insight to Bring Living Designs to Your Life

Nance Powers has turned her passion for gardening and knowledgeable horticulture skills into creating beautiful landscape designs for Art That Grows. Studying under our founder, Denise Koval, Nance has acquired the artistic vision, landscape design skills, and the exceptionally high-level awareness of plant characteristics to create gardens of beauty and physical sustainability. Her design selections are ones that flourish and survive under the best and worst conditions, including our brutal summer heat and dry spells we have in North Texas. Our clients count on Nance’s natural, organic approach to maintain our environmentally focused treatments for insects and plant diseases. This natural approach lends itself very well to keeping gardens and lawns free from weeds; they tremble in her presence! Art That Grows and our clients are thankful to have Nance as part of our team.

Hands-on Master Literally Guides the Plan to Reality

With over 35 years in the landscaping business, Joe Weaver not only has a passion for making garden designs look beautiful, but he also has a passion for perfection and ensuring all his work is top quality.  Joe and his working partner, Chuy, complete garden installations with precision and by hand, so they are careful to preserve elements like sprinkler and gas lines and plants that remain.  Having worked as a Foreman for Art That Grows for over 24 years, Joe knows how to soften curves, make recommendations for the ongoing success of the new plants and generally focus on client care while he is on site. Joe has many talents outside of landscape installation: He is a licensed irrigator for sprinkler needs, he is an expert at drainage correction, cut stone patios and pathways, decks and fencing.

Valentin Gonzales has been completing all maintenance work for Art That Grows for over 35 years.  In the beginning, he worked under his father and with our founder, Denise. He brings a perfectionist attitude to ensuring lawns are manicured and leaves are collected. He also adds special touches that our clients have come to expect from Art That Grows. Specifically, weed control in the lawn and garden, shrub and minor tree trimming, fertilization at least two times per year for beautiful lawns and gardens. You can count on Valentin to take special care of your property’s landscape.
